1. What is Personalisation?
Personalisation makes a gift more special for whoever receives it by adding a name and/ or number.
We currently only offer one method and style online. If you have a specific request please drop us a line on 01792687007 or sales@giftwarewales.co.uk BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Transfer - This process uses a piece of vinyl or heat press full colour ink. Once cut to size and shape, the vinyl is heat pressed onto your gift or heat transferred in full colour.
2. How do I personalise a product?
If the product is available to personalise it will be clearly shown. However, if you would like a product personalised and you can’t see an option - just send us an email at sales@giftwarewales.co.uk
Please check names are spelt correctly before submitting your order as personalised items cannot be amended or changed.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse personalised orders at our discretion. In the case of inappropriate use of this service, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded.
3. What can I write in the personalisation?
NAME Text – Unlimited but text will be shrunk to fit. We usually recommend one name be used. For example: The Surname.
NUMBER Text- up to Three numbers
Text should not include any of the following:
No text that may be considered offensive, profanity or be controversial to others in any manner
No references to illegal substances, political statements or names of politicians
No church names, company names, school names, abbreviations of school names, or sports teams, trademarks, slogans, tag lines or Business advertising without the correct permissions
No events other than those with a family name incorporated: for example "Johnson Family Reunion") without the correct permissions.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse personalised orders at our discretion. In the case of inappropriate use of this service, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded.
We reserve the right to decline to use your text at our sole discretion.
Giftware Wales does not accept any responsibility for any known trademark that may be violated. It is up to the customer to check what they require is legal for personal wear.
4. How much does personalisation cost?

NAME AND NUMBER AT THE BACK OF SHIRT £5.00 or £4.95
The cost of the personalisation will be shown on the screen when you add the item to your basket.
5. How long does it take?
Personalisation may add an additional 2 working days to standard delivery.
Personalisation is not offered with express delivery. However, if you do need your item quickly- CONTACT US here and we will do our best to accommodate you.
6. Which products can be personalised?
We can personalise almost anything. If the website does not accommodate your need - please CONTACT US here
7. Can I include symbols such as exclamation marks?
Yes
8. Is there a limit to how many characters can be used in the NAME field?
You are unlimited in your use of characters. However, the text will be shrunk to fit the space. We recommend one name is used.
In respect of the NUMBER field- It is normal for 2 numbers to be used.
10. What fonts and colours are used?
Currently our website will only allow the following options
COLOUR: White
FONT: We use IMPACT or American Captain

11. Will you amend my personalised message?
All personalisation will appear exactly as it is written. Please ensure when entering your personalised message that the text is correct as you wish to see it. Names to the back of the shirt will appear as CAPITALS unless instructed otherwise.
We will not make any other changes to your message, spelling or spaces.
12. Can I get a more bespoke design?
We have a wide range of colours, fonts and graphics and are able to print most things. However, our website does not accommodate this. If you would like an individual quotation please CONTACT US here for a quote.
13. Can I return a personalised product?
Personalised items are not covered by the Distance Selling Regulations and as such personalised items cannot be returned, unless there is a manufacturing error or product defect, this does not affect your statutory rights. Please check names are spelt correctly before submitting your order as personalised items cannot be amended or changed.

We will offer a 28 day no-quibble money back guarantee on nearly all items!
NO UNDERWEAR SHALL BE ACCEPTED AS A RETURN DUE TO HEALTH & SAFETY LAWS.
NO REFUNDS ON HAND MADE TO ORDER GOLD RINGS IN ACCORDANCE WITH DISTANCE SELLING LAWS.
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS PERIOD
You can return your item(s) to us within 28 days of receiving your order for a complete refund. All that we ask is that the item(s) must be returned to us in their original as new condition with all of the tags attached and the item(s) still in their original packaging. Items that have been used, washed, soiled or damaged in any way will invalidate our offer. Engraved items can only be returned if there is a mistake made by ourselves or the engravers. .
International customers wishing to return items for exchange or refund must do so at their own cost. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of being placed may be subject to a 2.5% charge to cover credit card fees.
Please remember to include your name, contact details and original order number when communicating with us.

Under normal circumstances every order received (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched within 24 hours (week days) assuming the stock is available. In the case of stock not being available we will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements. MORE
