Cycling in Wales is fast becoming one of the most popular activities in Wales. To complement this, the sport of Triathlon is also building a huge following in the area. Here are a few reasons why Wales is Booming!
With cycling being so popular, the people of Wales and the surrounding border countries are often found visiting the highly coveted premises of Cranc Cyclesport. Here you will find one of the most professional, pleasant and knowledgeable proprietors in Andrew Rowland's. Cranc not only offer custom built bicycles but they also use the most modern technology know to man for fitting you correctly to a bike, known as RETUL®. This can be a bicycle you already own or to a brand new one. With available brands like De Rosa®, LOOK® and Argon® (to name a few), you can be sure to be spoilt for choice choosing your new machine!
The mechanics that work out of the 'surgical like' workshop are extremely efficient, amazing at what they do and also love to chat and give advice on any issues you may be having with your bike. As if this wasn't enough, there is also a coffee shop above the shop serving 'PROPER' Coffee and cake to die for and an unrivaled view across the River Towy! Oh, there are also showering and toilet facilities available (mega!) So, if you're in the Carmarthen area of South Wales, it's a highly recommended place to visit.
Cranc also organise weekly rides from their base in Carmarthen, with ample car parking and full use of all the facilities made available pre, and post ride!
